When we were planning our wedding, finding the right photographer was at the top of my list; above finding the right dress and a close second to finding the right husband. I kid. It was a very close second. I had a clear idea of what I wanted captured from our wedding; the moments in between, the raw emotion, the unposed. What I got, was much much more. Dennis and Hardy did a fantastic job of setting up natural moments and of remaining a part of the scene without dominating the scene. I never felt rushed, posed, or stressed; along with his camera he brought a zen-like aura that calmed our nerves and allowed us to relax and be fully present in our special day. What I love most is that while there are plenty of photos of us during our ceremony, I don’t remember having one memory of him being there; I have no recollection of hearing the clicking of a camera. What I do remember is getting lost in my husband’s eyes, my ears hanging on every word that came out of his mouth during the vows he read to me. And yet, I have several beautiful images to show for it; images that take me back to that very moment and allow me to relive the first chapter of our lives together as husband and wife. It’s a beautiful thing and I feel indebted to Viera Photographics for their love, passion, taste, and talent.
